Approach
My approach to psychotherapy is to utilize a practical, and interactive approach, providing the support and insight to help patients resolve current issues as well as historical patterns. Through empathy and direct communication, I assist patients in finding the solutions to life’s adversities, challenges, and mental health.
My practice combines traditional with alternative and contemporary approaches, drawing from multiple styles.
William’s journey in clinical care is rooted in a deep commitment to meeting people where they are. He gained extensive experience during his early clinical work, providing compassionate support to individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, including chronic conditions, mood disorders, and neuropsychological transitions. To provide the most comprehensive care, William completed specialized studies in a diverse range of therapeutic modalities. His expertise includes psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). His integrative approach is further enriched by deep training in somatic work and mindfulness, allowing him to address the vital connection between mind and body in the healing process.
Psychotherapy
Psychodynamic therapy is a gentle yet profound journey toward personal freedom, offering a space to untangle the patterns that may feel limiting or painful. In this practice, we work together in a close, supportive partnership to explore the beautiful complexity of your life—looking at how your past and present, your body and mind, and your inner dreams and outer reality all weave together. Many people seek this path when they feel weighed down by stress or difficult memories, while others simply long for a deeper sense of self-understanding and creativity. By creating a safe, confidential sanctuary and meeting regularly, we allow your inner world to truly come to life, fostering a natural process of healing and transformation that unfolds with care and dignity over time.
By meeting regularly—anywhere from one to five times a week—you create the space needed for your inner world to truly come to life, allowing for a deep, lasting healing that evolves over time. Through Community Advocacy and Practice in his pre-doctoral internship at the LA Gay & Lesbian Center, William found a profound calling in serving the LGBTQQI community. This experience shaped his heart-centered approach, allowing him to offer a safe, affirming space for individuals and couples of all backgrounds. William truly believes that the best therapy is one that honors the whole person. He is a passionate advocate for a psychotherapeutic approach that deeply respects and celebrates each individual's unique cultural, religious, and sexual identity. Today, William continues to offer dedicated care to individuals, couples, and families across Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and the greater Los Angeles area, helping his clients navigate life’s complexities with dignity and hope.

LGBTQQI Affirmative
My practice is a warm and affirming space for individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities, including those who may be in a season of questioning or curious exploration. I believe that every person’s journey is unique, and I embrace the beautiful diversity within the LGBTQQI community—Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, and Intersex.
It is so common to feel a sense of pressure to fit into traditional roles or stereotypes, and for many, the feeling of not “fitting in” can be a deeply painful and even traumatic experience. Please know that you don’t have to fit into any “cookie cutter” shape here; my goal is to provide a sanctuary where your true self is respected, celebrated, and met with profound kindness and understanding.
